Definitions

1. y = sin^-1x if

(i)-1≤x≤1,
(ii)-π/2≤y≤π/2 and
(iii) x = sin y


2. y = cos^-1x if

(i)-1≤x≤1,
(ii) 0≤y≤π and -π/2≤y≤π/2 and
(iii) x = cos y

3. y = tan^-1x if
